Obesity Prevention Planning by County
The goal of the Community Obesity Prevention Program was to support and sustain community initiatives, through policy, systems and environmental changes to reduce the risk of obesity in communities around the state. Projects funded to make environmental changes in their communities have been completed around the state, increasing opportunities for Ohioans to become more physically active.
From walking trails to improvements in local parks, these projects give local residents more reasons to become physically active. Residents and organizations in these communities can learn more and take advantage of these projects by contacting their local health department.
