The Healthy Worksite Award
This award recognizes Ohio employers that demonstrate a commitment to employee health by incorporating comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. It acknowledges efforts to facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment.
All worksites, large and small, for profit and nonprofit, are encouraged to apply for the Healthy Ohio Worksite Award. All applications will be reviewed and evaluated by a selection committee comprised of members of the Healthy Ohio Business Council (excluding regional council members).
Three levels of achievement are awarded: Gold, Silver and Bronze, at the Healthy Ohio Worksite Health Promotion Conference in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to the award, winners are recognized locally through press releases to the area media. Statewide recognition is achieved through continuous publication on the Healthy Ohio Web site at http://www.healthyohioprogram.org for the duration of the award period. Award winners may use the Healthy Worksite Award Winner logo for the duration of the award period.
